Founder of TRIA Audio Foundation | Master’s Degree in Mechanics | Engineer
Vladimir Iovchev is a mechanical engineer, holds a Master’s degree in Mechanics, and is the founder of TRIA Audio Foundation.
For more than 12 years, his professional work has focused on the development and production of specialized mechanical connections, including unique couplings for steel cables and reinforcement bars. Working with metals, structures, mechanical joints, loads, and material behavior has shaped the engineering approach that later became the foundation of TRIA’s philosophy.
The TRIA Audio Foundation project has been evolving for nine years. Its central idea is to view an audio equipment rack not as furniture or an accessory, but as the engineered foundation of an audio system.
Together with enthusiasts, electronics engineers, and audiophiles, we explore the role of the foundation in building a Hi-End audio system: how structure, materials, mechanical connections, mass, and vibration affect the operating conditions of audio components.
Over the years, TRIA has evolved from an engineering experiment into a distinct concept of its own — Audio Foundation.
We believe that a great audio system begins not only with the source, amplifier, or loudspeakers. It begins with what everything is built upon.
